Magazine advert ideas

Before i go and make my own advert for our artist 'Luna Smalls' i took a look at previous adverts made for well known musical artists to inspire me with their design and structure.
These are the four adverts that i thought would be great to look at as they all show case their artist as they are showing simplicity and style in their advertisements also i believe this is what i want my advert to be like, clearly showing the artist and the info needed but keeping the attraction using bold colours and attractive fonts that stand out. The first advert on the top left hand corner (Rihanna) is the most stripped back compared to the other three, the warm colours in the background allow her face centred stand out allot more, also we get to see the rawness of her as she does not consist of bright or vibrant make up this gives the audience a sense of mystery to what they may expect at the concert itself. The tour for that advert was in 2009 and we see a clear transformation from that advert to her more recent advert for the album "loud', corresponding  with her album cover they use the same colours as the actual album so that the fans that she has built up over the years directly recognise and attracts them moreover the colours are bright and immediately attractive. On the attractive note Elle Goulding's advert uses two very bold colours that go together very well these being Black and gold and to make it stand out more they have incorporated glitter around her head drawing audience attraction to her face but also the fact that her name is glowing makes it more bold and most importantly represents the album name 'Lights'. Jesse J's avdert i like the best her face is on edge bold and attractive and the colours she uses are consistent, her name is clearly shown in the centre and what i really find beneficial to the advert is that the information provided is separated from the imagery using a black back screen this makes it more clear which is great for the audience to read.
