Reflection: Technical Elements Of AS Music Video...

Some technical elements that worked worked well for my remake of 'Cha Cha Slide' was definitely the lip syncing, as it was in time every time the scene changed. I was really happy with this as I did the editing on my own and it was difficult until you understand how to do it properly. Another thing that worked was the editing (jump cuts) as they changed on the beat of the song. Also I really liked that when the word said 'take it back' or 'to the left' they moved into the next scene doing the same movement and I think this gave it a good effect.

Some technical elements that were a bit weak were the fact I only added to different base tracks, I did this because I was having difficulties with cutting them so that the lip syncing was in time, so I would make sure I have more than two because it doesn't really give the audience anything to focus on as I even admit I was a little bit boring to watch. Another technical element is that I didn't really use any edits, I could have added swipes across the screen when it said 'to the left' or 'to the right'. It would've made the video more eye-catching for the viewer.
